Our VAT number is GB 406 9271 92.

1.2 We run pizzerias at 339 Watford Road, St Albans AL2 3DA and at Arcade, 103 New Oxford Street, London WC1A 1AB [update if locations change].

1.3 You can contact us at info@graceyspizza.com or by phone on 01727 858841 (St Albans) [add other numbers].

1.4 These terms apply when you use the Website, book a table, or order food and drink from us directly (online, by phone or in person for collection). By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1.5 If you order through a third-party platform such as Deliveroo, or book through OpenTable, that platform's own terms also apply to the order, payment, delivery and any refund it handles.

2. Using our Website

2.1 The Website is free to use. We may change, suspend or withdraw it, or any part of it, at any time without notice.

2.2 We try to keep menus, prices, opening hours and other information accurate and up to date, but they can change and we do not guarantee the Website is always complete or error-free.

2.3 You must not misuse the Website, including by:

  • using it for anything unlawful or fraudulent;

  • introducing viruses or other harmful code, or trying to gain unauthorised access to it or its servers;

  • copying, scraping or reusing its content other than as allowed in section 9.

2.4 Links to other websites (for example Deliveroo, OpenTable or social media) are for convenience only. We are not responsible for their content.

3. Orders and table bookings

3.1 Orders. When you place an order, you are offering to buy the items listed. A contract is formed only when we accept your order, for example by confirmation email, text or on the phone. We may decline an order, for instance if an item is unavailable, we are too busy, or the order appears fraudulent. If we decline after taking payment, we will refund you in full.

3.2 Please check your order before submitting it. Tell us straight away if anything is wrong; we may not be able to change an order once we have started preparing it.

3.3 Alcohol. Alcohol is only sold to people aged 18 or over. If you order alcohol, you confirm you are 18+. We or our delivery partner may ask for photo ID on collection or delivery and will not hand over alcohol if valid ID is not shown or the person appears intoxicated. Any refund for withheld alcohol is at our discretion [or: will be given in full].

3.4 Table bookings. Bookings can be made [online / by phone / via OpenTable]. Please arrive on time; we may hold a table for [15] minutes before releasing it. Tables may be booked for a set time slot of [90 minutes]. For groups of [8] or more we may ask for a deposit or a pre-order, which we will explain when you book. [Deposits are refundable if you cancel at least [48] hours before your booking, and otherwise may be kept.]

3.5 Please let us know as early as possible if you need to change or cancel a booking.

4. Prices and payment

4.1 Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Prices on the Website, on third-party platforms and in our restaurants may differ.

4.2 If we discover a pricing error on an order, we will contact you before accepting it so you can confirm at the correct price or cancel.

4.3 We accept [card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash on collection]. Payment for online orders is taken when you place the order [or: on collection].

4.4 A discretionary service charge of [12.5]% may be added to dine-in bills [for groups of X or more]. It is optional and will be shown on your bill. [Delete if not applicable.]

5. Collection and delivery

5.1 Collection. We will give you an estimated collection time when you order. Please collect promptly so your food is at its best. If an order is not collected within [60] minutes of the stated time, we may dispose of it and no refund will be due.

5.2 Delivery. Delivery is provided through [Deliveroo / our own drivers]. Where a third-party platform delivers, its terms govern delivery times, fees and missing or late orders, and you should contact it first. [If we deliver ourselves: we deliver within [area / radius] for a fee of [£X]; times are estimates and can be affected by demand, traffic and weather. Please make sure someone is available to receive the order at the address given.]

5.3 Estimated times are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. Responsibility for the food passes to you once it is collected or delivered.

6. Cancellations, refunds and problems

6.1 Because our food is made to order and perishable, the usual 14-day right to cancel for online purchases does not apply (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). You can cancel an order free of charge only if we have not yet started preparing it; please phone us as soon as possible.

6.2 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, food we supply must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

6.3 If something is wrong with your order (missing items, wrong items, or a quality problem), please tell us within [24 hours], ideally straight away, with your order details and a photo if possible. Where the problem is our fault we will offer a replacement, a partial refund or a full refund, as appropriate.

6.4 Refunds are made to the original payment method, usually within [5–10] working days. For orders placed via a third-party platform, please raise the issue with that platform.

7. Allergens and dietary requirements

7.1 Our pizzas contain or may contain the 14 major allergens, including gluten (wheat), milk and others. Allergen information for every menu item is available [on our menu page / on request from our staff / at the link here].

7.2 Please tell us about any allergy or intolerance before you order or when you book. Online, use the order notes and also phone us if your allergy is severe.

7.3 Our kitchens handle all 14 allergens and use shared equipment and ovens. We take care to prevent cross-contamination, but we cannot guarantee any dish is completely free from any allergen.

7.4 Labels such as vegetarian, vegan or halal describe the ingredients used. [Add any detail on halal sourcing or separation, if relevant.]

8. Offers, promotions and gift vouchers

8.1 Offers and discount codes are subject to availability and any conditions stated with them. Unless we say otherwise, they cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or used on third-party platforms, and we may withdraw them at any time.

8.2 Gift vouchers are valid for [12 months] from purchase and can be used at [St Albans / all locations] for [dine-in / collection]. They cannot be exchanged for cash, and any unused balance [will remain on the voucher / will be lost]. Please treat vouchers like cash; we cannot replace lost or stolen vouchers. [Delete if you don't sell vouchers.]

9. Intellectual property

The Website and its content, including the Gracey's name and logo, text, photos and menus, belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for personal use. You may not copy or use them commercially without our written permission.

10. Our liability to you

10.1 If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or negligence. Our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, except as set out in 10.2.

10.2 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10.3 We supply food and drink for domestic and private use only. We are not liable for business losses, such as lost profit or business interruption.

10.4 We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, power cuts or supplier problems.

11. Your personal information

We use your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law. That policy explains what we collect when you book or order, how we use it and your rights. We will only send marketing if you have agreed to it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the Website when you place an order or make a booking is the one that applies to it.

13. Governing law and complaints

13.1 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts.

13.2 If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@graceyspizza.com and we will try to resolve it quickly.

13.3 If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will still apply.
